I mean, technically couldn’t you just save the game and then if you encountered just go back to the save because if you think about it that save that you’re on is saved while there’s been zero encounters so if you encounter something you just erase that save by going back to the save with zero encounters and then you just keep trying until You get through. to be honest, he probably knows this, but just wanted to go the harder route to prove it’s even more possible and a lot of other peoples eyes. I guess a lot of people probably would say even if that technically has no encounters they still encountered on that run, even if there wasn’t a save

So, upon beating the Trick Master's final floor, you get access to a pp max. There's another in the magma hideout. A PP max sells the same as the price of a single pp up, but delivers 3x the power. Therefore, using a PP max on your meowth is worth more than selling it, as it would give you the option to use 32 pay days in stevens fight instead of 20.

Legendary battles arent repeatable so those fights would technically be allowed, which means more times you can payday

I'm going to say you completed the challenge, considering the Zekrom you captured was awakened from the stone you were GIVEN earlier in the game. So no, it's not considered a wild Pokémon. It's a guaranteed encounter (much like a trainer battle), so you cleared the challenge.

Late, but just watched, the only thing s I can see that are missed is using like an ether on the Steven stone fight since you probably make more off extra paydays than the ether and getting the rare berries on mirage island, though getting that may have been madness inducing

couldn't you leppa Berry meowth for more paydays at the end?

How about a play through where you can only use the same exact Pokémon with the same exact moves, IVs, nature as every NPC trainer in the game? (This would also mean that you have to change your team when fighting every trainer).

My personal favorite ability is Magic Guard, cuz its just so versatile, being immune to poison, sandstorm, recoil, spikes is just so handy.
